5. Public Comment - The public will be permitted to offer public comment on agenda items and items related to City business. Citizens interested in commenting may sign up online at https://www.amarillo.gov/city-secretary/public-comment-registration-form/, by calling the City Secretary’s office at (806) 378-3014, or in person in Room 3500 of City Hall, 623 S. Johnson. Citizens should sign up at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled meeting start time.
6. Consent Agenda - It is recommended that the following items be approved and that the City Manager be authorized to execute all documents necessary for each transaction. The following items may be acted upon by one motion. No separate discussion or action on any of the items is necessary unless desired by a Councilmember, in which event the item shall be considered in its normal sequence, after the items not requiring separate discussion have been acted upon by a single motion.
7.1. Consideration of Resolution No. 08-25-26-1. This item considers a resolution authorizing an Advance Funding Agreement for Highway Safety Improvement Program with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) for transportation improvements within the specified program; permitting administrative adjustments to documents as needed; and authorizing the City Manager to execute such agreement. 7.2. Consider Approval - Police Department Capital Project Budget Transfer. This item considers approval for the transfer of budget funds from Capital Project No. 411413 (Facilities E&I project) to provide necessary financial support to Capital Project No. 0000113 (planned chiller replacement project) that currently requires additional funding. (Jerry Danforth, Managing Director of Capital Projects, Development & Engineering)
7.3. Consider Approval - Airport Capital Project Budget Transfer. This item considers approval for the transfer of $100,000 from the operating budget of Rick Husband International Airport to two new Airport capital projects that will be setup upon approval ("Round Room Modifications" and "Regulatory Program Technology Upgrades") that currently require additional funding. (Michael Conner, Director of Aviation)
