1. MINUTES: Overview: Approval of the City Commission minutes of the regular meeting held on July 9, 2013.
2. ORDINANCE NO. 7414: Overview: This is the first reading of an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 7151 to expand the definition of revenues subject to franchise fee. The ordinance makes no other changes to the franchise agreement.
3. RESOLUTION - PUBLIC HEARING AND APPROVAL OF THE 2013-2014 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN OF THE CONSOLIDATED PLAN FOR HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT: Overview: This resolution conducts the final public hearing to allow interested parties to comment on the proposed activities and programs and authorizes the City of Amarillo to submit the 2013-2014 Annual Action Plan of the 2010-2014 Consolidated Plan for Housing and Community Development to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The allocation reflects a total 17% reduction in funding. Beginning October 1, 2013, this federal funding will provide a variety of programs, services and projects which benefit low and moderate income residents and neighborhoods in Amarillo. The Annual Action Plan is recommended for approval by the Community Development Advisory Committee.

RESOLUTION - PUBLIC HEARING ON 2013 PROGRAM OF PROJECTS AND APPROVAL OF A GRANT APPLICATION FOR FY 2012-13 FEDERAL AND STATE GRANT FUNDING FOR THE AMARILLO CITY TRANSIT SYSTEM: Overview: This resolution conducts a public hearing on the 2013 Program of Projects and authorizes the City of Amarillo to submit a grant application to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) for fiscal year 2012-13 operating and capital assistance for the Amarillo City Transit Department. The City will receive an allocation from both the Federal Transit Authority and the Texas Department of Transportation. The proposed allocation is $814,682 more than the current fiscal year.
