1. MINUTES: Overview: Approval of the City Commission minutes of the regular meeting held on April 23, 2013.
2. ORDINANCE NO. 7405: Overview: This is the first reading of an ordinance changing the zoning of a 35.02 acre tract of unplatted land in Section 231, Block 2, AB&M Survey, Randall County, in the vicinity of Farmers Avenue and City View Drive from Agricultural District to Residential District 2. This is recommended for approval by a 6:0 vote of the Planning and Zoning Commission.
3. ORDINANCE NO. 7404: Overview: This is the second and final reading of an ordinance amending the Amarillo Municipal Code, Chapter 2-8, Article IV, Section 2-8-113, to increase the warrant fee from $25.00 to $50.00. This amendment updates the ordinance to match the approved FY 2012/2013 Municipal budget.
4. RESOLUTION CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING TO DETERMINE WHETHER CERTAIN CONDITIONS DESCRIBED HEREIN CONSTITUTE A PUBLIC NUISANCE AT THE LOCATION STATED: Overview: This resolution sets the date and time for a public hearing to determine if this property constitutes a public nuisance and thereby declared as dangerous structure. A copy of this resolution will be mailed to all interested parties providing ten (10) days notice of public hearing.
5. RESOLUTION - PUBLIC HEARING: Overview: This resolution conducts a public hearing on and considers ordering the removal of a substandard structure located at 308 North Lincoln Street.
6. PUBLIC HEARING - PROPOSED ANNEXATION: Overview: This is to conduct a public hearing on the proposed annexation of a 2.48-acre tract of land in the vicinity of Georgia Street and Farmers Avenue. The first reading of the ordinance authorizing the annexation proceedings will be held on June 4, 2013. This was approved by a 6:0 vote of the Planning and Zoning Commission.
7. CONSENT AGENDA: Overview: It is recommended that the following item be approved and that the City Manager be authorized to execute all documents necessary for each transaction:
