A. Purchase - Microsoft Licenses on Enterprise Agreement:
Overview: Award on Department of Information Resources (DIR) Cooperative Purchasing Contract: Dell -- $219,556.64
Overview: This item approves the purchase of citywide product licenses on a Microsoft Enterprise Agreement which will replace existing licenses reaching end-of-life cycles. The Enterprise Agreement is more cost effective than individual purchases and provides for the purchase of these licenses over a three year period. Funding for the purchase is available in the approved 2009-10 Information Technology project budget.
B. Purchase - Sod for River Road Ballfields:
Overview: Award to sole responsive bidder: H Bar H Turf Farms, LLC -- $43,326.50
Overview: This item awards a contract for the purchase of 163,426 square foot of Celebration Bermuda grass sod to be installed at the three ballfields at River Road Park. This is the first purchase of this type of sod which will be installed by the Park and Recreation Department. The River Road Ballfields were renovated during the winter and the installation of the sod is the final step in returning the fields for play. The cost of the sod is 8% more than estimated. Funding for the purchase is available in the approved River Road project budget.
C. Acceptance - Consolidated Texas Department of State Health Services Grant Cooperative Agreement:

Grant Amount: $1,236,174
Overview: This item approves the acceptance of a grant cooperative award from the Texas Department of State Health Services for FY2012-13. The total funding represents level funding for all of the programs except Refugee Services which has seen an increase in funding. This cooperative award consolidates several individual contracts into one agreement and will allow for reallocation of up to 25% of the funds within each program without a formal contract amendment. The programs and funding are as follows:

D. Approval - Addendum to Independent Contractor Agreement Contractor: Overview: Patricia I. Ladd - $35,000
Overview: This item approves an addendum in the amount of $11,000 to the independent contractor agreement with Patricia I. Ladd for professional services provided to the Section 8 Housing Assistance Program in the Community Development Department. Additional work is needed which will exceed the original agreement amount of $24,000. Funding for the contact is available in the approved Housing Assistance budget funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Overview: 1) A 34.5 square foot Public Right-of-Way in Lot 1, Block 1, East Amarillo Addition Unit No. 1, AB&M Survey, Potter County, in the vicinity of Grand Street and Northeast 16th Avenue for a City bus stop pad.
Overview: 2) A 150 square foot Public Utility Easement in Block 14, Martin Addition Unit No. 10, in Section 136, Block 2, AB&M Survey, Potter County, in the vicinity of Grand Street and Northeast 24th Avenue for a traffic signal device.
